About SwapEazi

Built by payments people.
For the corridors payments forgot.

SwapEazi is stablecoin payments infrastructure for the SADC corridor — built by a product manager who has spent 10+ years inside payments systems at South African banks and European mobility companies, and saw this gap firsthand in the diaspora communities living with it. Not a crypto founder discovering payments. A payments person who chose stablecoins as the right rail for this corridor.

Payments product

Payments has been the focus since 2017. SwapEazi is the company version of a problem the founder has been studying for nearly a decade — first from inside SA banks, then from inside European mobility companies dealing with cross-border settlement at scale.

Why SwapEazi

The pattern is well-known to anyone who has worked inside payments: cross-border money flows in the SADC corridor are slow, expensive, and built on infrastructure that extracts the most from the people who can least afford it. A diaspora worker sending €100 home loses up to €8 before a single rand lands. A freelancer paid in USD by a foreign company is squeezed through the PayPal-FNB monopoly at 5–7%. A business waiting 3–5 days for a USD settlement loses competitiveness with every cycle.

Stablecoins solve all three problems simultaneously — but generic aggregators don't serve the SADC corridor. They optimise for EVM-to-EVM trading, deprioritise Tron (where USDT actually lives in this part of the world), and have no local ZAR off-ramp.

SwapEazi is what you build when you start from the payments problem, not from crypto. Money in through licensed funding partners. Stablecoins routed across 7 chains, including the Tron corridor. ZAR out through a licensed payout partner. 0.5% SwapEazi fee, every provider cost shown up front, no markup.

What we believe

Money should move as fast as information

A text message crosses continents in milliseconds. Stablecoin payments can move that fast too. They should.

Fees should be flat, visible, and fair

0.5%. Always. No FX markup, no hidden spread, no nasty surprise on arrival. The all-in number is the number you see.

We never hold your funds

Your keys, your funds. SwapEazi never touches your money. Settlement happens on chain from your address.

Built for the corridor, not the headquarters

The SADC corridor isn't a side market we're expanding into. It's the entire product. SA-registered, FSCA-ready.
